1. Billing Cycles
WAAPI subscriptions are offered on Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly billing cycles. Your plan renews automatically on the same calendar date each period until cancelled. The exact renewal date and plan price are visible in your Billing dashboard.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit & Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay)
- UPI (all major UPI apps)
- Net Banking (all major Indian banks)
- Mobile wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, and others supported by Razorpay)
- International cards for non-INR currencies
- Bank transfer & invoicing (Enterprise plans only, net-30 terms)
All card payments are processed via PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways. WAAPI does not store full card numbers on its servers — only tokenized references required for recurring billing.
3. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically. You can disable auto-renewal at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. If you disable auto-renewal, your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period and is then downgraded to the Free tier (if available) or suspended.
4. Failed Payments
If an auto-renewal payment fails, we will:
- Notify you via email and dashboard immediately;
- Retry the payment up to 3 times over a 7-day grace period;
- Suspend the account if the retries fail. Suspended accounts retain data, but messaging, campaigns, and API access are blocked until payment is settled.
- Move the account to “Expired” status after 15 days of continued non-payment. Data is retained for an additional 60 days, after which it may be archived or deleted per our Privacy Policy.
5. Upgrades & Downgrades
- Upgrade: Effective immediately. You will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remaining days of the current period at the new plan’s price.
- Downgrade: Takes effect at the start of the next billing period. No pro-rated refund is issued, but unused credit (if any) is applied to the next invoice.
6. Message Charges (Meta Pricing)
WAAPI’s subscription price covers the platform and included message quota. Any conversations beyond your plan’s allowance are charged at the per-conversation rate set by Meta, which varies by country and conversation category (marketing, utility, authentication, service). Current Meta rates are shown in your dashboard before you send campaigns and are billed as usage fees alongside your subscription.
7. Taxes
Prices displayed exclude applicable taxes unless specified otherwise. GST (18%) is added to all invoices for Indian customers. For international customers, taxes may apply based on your country of registration and will be shown at checkout.
8. Invoices & GST
A tax invoice is generated for every successful payment and is available in your Billing dashboard under “Transactions”. You can download invoices as PDF. If you require a GST-registered invoice, please add your GSTIN in Billing Settings before making the payment.
9. Currency
Pricing is shown in Indian Rupees (INR) by default. For international customers, selected plans may be displayed in USD / EUR / GBP. Card-network currency conversion may apply; any conversion fees are your responsibility and not reflected on the WAAPI invoice.
10. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge, please contact us first at info@lamdainfotech.thewaapi.com before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks filed without prior communication may result in immediate account suspension and a chargeback fee.
11. Price Changes
We reserve the right to revise plan prices. Existing customers will receive at least 30 days’ notice before any price change takes effect, and the new price will apply from the next billing cycle. You may cancel before the renewal to avoid the new rate.
